Boucheron

guld

Exceptional Boucheron ring in 18-carat yellow gold and platinum, created in the 1960s, set in its center with a remarkable old-cut diamond of approximately 1.55 carats, H color and VS1 clarity, surrounded by 1.80 carats of old-cut diamonds, for a total weight of approximately 3.35 carats.

This creation is a remarkable testimony to the style developed by the Maison Boucheron during the 1960s. The airy architecture of the mount, composed of delicately intertwined twisted gold strands, creates a play of volumes and movement that enhances the brilliance of the diamonds while giving the piece a great lightness. This pursuit of relief, transparency, and sophistication is characteristic of the Maison's high jewelry creations from this period.

Emblematic of 1960s French high jewelry, this ring illustrates the aesthetic evolution of the era, where the houses of Place Vendôme favored sculptural, generously openworked mounts capable of exalting the light of the stones while maintaining remarkable elegance. Faithful to the spirit of Boucheron, it combines technical virtuosity, refinement of proportions, and stylized naturalism in a floral composition of great finesse.

Signed Boucheron, this collector's piece embodies the know-how and excellence of one of the most prestigious French jewelry houses.
